Platinum lustred drawing of an imagined universe on black glass on painted wood frame. Like a personal memory of landscape, I compose these works in moments of contemplation and wonder. The ripples on the surface are an indication of a cosmos teaming with forces and form. Physicist and thinker David Bohm once said ‘Space is not empty. It is full, a plenum as opposed to a vacuum, and is the ground for existence of everything, including ourselves’. This artwork is promised to a competition at The Horton Summer Exhibition from 1-21 August in Epsom, Surrey. A similar piece can be commissioned, please get in touch.
